Busy people do not want to spend hours getting to grips with a new system.  Firefly.NET was designed with the overriding principle that if it is easy to use, people will use it.

We work hard to make sure that if users can use a word processor or an e-mail package, then they will feel comfortable with Firefly.  Our built-in editor has a familiar look and feel and means users can see how their content will look as they create or change it.

Image editing

You can even edit images from within your web browser - crop, rotate, adjust colours, resize and more.  Forget installing or learning how to use Photoshop.

Drag and drop

Changing the structure of your site or the layout of your page is a breeze with Firefly.NET's drag and drop support.

Inline editing

We keep all the editing tools with the content.  There is no separate "administration interface" in Firefly.NET.  If you have permission to do so, you just edit the page as you are looking at it.

Roll back, moderation and content freezing

Firefly automatically keeps track of all the previous versions of your content, allowing you to roll back to a previous version easily, meaning that any mistake is easy to rectify.  You can also 'freeze' pages so you can work on them without showing your changes until you are completely ready, and you can apply permissions to pages so that certain users can edit, but their changes will not be shown to the outside world until a moderator has approved them.

Edit in your favourite browser

Firefly's content and editing tools are all completely web based - meaning that anyone with a browser and an internet connection (and the appropriate permissions) can not only read the content but change it.  Our built-in editor supports a wide range of browsers — Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
