Online testing and work collection

Using Firefly.NET's built in test building tools you can easily build tests for use in class and for students to revise from in their own time.  You can also create assignments so that students can hand in work, for homeworks or coursework.

Question types

You can create the following types of question in your tests and assignments:

• Text
  
• Multiple choice — with single or multiple correct answers
• True or false
• File — so students can submit document(s) containing their work

Marking and feedback

You can choose whether questions should be marked automatically or require manual marking, and also send feedback and marks to students when you mark their tests and assignments.

Peer review

Tests are not limited to "teachers".  Any user can create tests in an area of the site they have editing rights for.  This allows students to build tests and assignments for each other to try.

Surveys and feedback forms

You can also create feedback forms, which e-mail the submission to a chosen recipient, or surveys, which collect and analyse submitted data.
