Personal sections

Personal sections are special sections that can be created in Firefly by an individual user for their own private use. This is a feature that needs to be enabled by your site administrator. If enabled, you should be able to access yours within your user menu - as shown in the screenshot below:

Permissions

You will only have the option to create a personal section if you have been given appropriate permissions by your site administrator. By default, your personal section is only accessible to you as it is intended for your private use, therefore you should not use it to store content which should be shared with other site users.

Enabling Personal sections

 You will need to be an Administrator to enable personal sections.To enable personal sections, go to the Firefly.NET Tools menu > Site > Control Panel, scroll down, click the Enable Personal Sections option and then Select multiple groups or individual people. You can then choose which groups of users will be allowed to create personal sections.
