choose from the Calendar pulldown menu which main calendar (there may be more than one available) to display
-
choose which subset of the main calendar to display
-
choose whether to display the calendar in Standard or in Tabular form from the Style menu, the former displaying consecutive days in consecutive rows whilst the latter displays days in a grid, one row for each week
-
choose whether to display automatically (i.e. the current date is at the top) and for how many days
-
or to choose to display a fixed date range from a certain starting date to a certain finish date
Then press Insert to embed the calendar into the selected page
iCalendar
If iCalendar is selected from the Calendar type pull-down menu, 2 options become available:
-
Select the Calendar source to be External web address (as shown below) and paste in the Uniform Resource Indicator (URI) of the selected internet iCalendar, or
-
Select Resource instead of External web address and Browse to the local iCalendar required.
The selected calendar can be displayed in two ways, Standard or Tabular, the former displaying consecutive days in consecutive rows whilst the latter displays days in a grid, one row for each week.
The example below shows the Tate Britain calendar set to display the next 1 day in Standard view mode.
An iCalendar could also be downloaded to the Resources area and displayed from there instead of dynamically from the internet.
