Blogs
A blog (a contraction of the term "web log") is a website with regular entries of comments, event descriptions, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order.
Setting up a new blog
Choose to add a new page using the Add Page button and select Blog from the scrolling page type menu. Give the page, or blog, an appropriate title.
The new page will have no content and will look as below:
Click Write new blog post to create the first blog page. Select a relevant title for the new blog post:
Click OK and, in the subsequent new page, create your first post. The screenshot below shows what the browser window should look like:
Note that the post name ("October News" in the example shown) is greyed out to the blog owner and will be invisible to other users, i.e. it is hidden by default although the page content itself is, of course, still visible to users from the main blog page ("Maple Hill School Blog" in this example).
