Making Links

Introduction

A link is a reference to another document or resource, to a different part of the same document - it is often denoted by characteristic formatting, e.g. by blue coloured underlined text. When a link is clicked, the document which the link references is displayed.

All links are managed through the Insert Link dialog box (see below).

Firefly supports links to

• other pages
• anchors within any page
• documents (e.g. Word, Excel, pdf files) stored in the Resources area
• Windows Media audio and video files
• internet pages
• mail addresses
