The Tools menu - Overview
Firefly.NET provides tools for those with editing rights which allow changes and additions to be made to the page(s) and/or section(s) over which the user has such rights. More advanced site administration tools are also available to those with appropriate access.
For those with appropriate access and who have authenticated, Firefly Tools are always on screen and are available from a floating window at the bottom right hand side of the browser window:
Clicking the up arrow on the right hand side expands the window to show the four main areas where Tools operates, Preferences, Manage site, Edit this page and Edit component:
Clicking the down arrow at the right top closes the menu again. Further information on each of the main areas and their sub-areas is given below (not all may be visible to users, depending on their level of access):-
